[ Hidden / Mini-lifting ]
Full facelift incision is hidden around and behind the ears from the sideburn to the postauricular hairlines. For a specific area lifting only, not all the incision needs to be made. To lift the tissue below the jawline and the neck, only the postauricular (back of the ear) incision is enough(Hidden lift). For the midface and cheek only, a minimal incision in front of the ear is enough (Mini-facelift, Short scar facelift).

Lifing Special
- Improve sagging tissue which can never be lifted with botox, filler or fat injection
- Drooping after facial bone contouring surgery or orthognathic surgery (two Jaw surgery) could be overcome
- Sagging induced bigger face could be reduced effectively

Depending on where you need to lift, the incision will vary |

Hidden lifting(hidden lift) Lifting neck and lower jawline |

Principles of the incisional lifting
Therefore, underlying soft tissue including the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) should be redraped into the original young shape to provide a natural and long-lasting effect.
The delicate facial expression muscles, fascia, and fat layers just beneath the skin are called the SMAS layer. SMAS consists of simple tendinous portions, fatty tissues, and the facial expression muscles those make the facial dynamics linked together. It also contributes most of the thick volume of the facial soft tissue. Aging is a phenomenon in which the center of weight moves downward in the form of a teardrop from the young original inverted triangular structure. (The wrinkles are rather a secondary problem, and the sagging is the most important feature)
The retaining ligament should be freed to improve lower face
The soft tissue is fixed firmly to the facial skeleton and the masticatory muscle at some specific sites. There are collagen-dense ligamentous structures between soft tissue and underlying bony skeleton. These ligaments are located regularly and fix the facial tissue firmly at those points than others. We call it “retaining ligaments”.
Since the soft tissue saggings are divided by the retaining ligaments, complete and successful lifting needs relocation of ligaments with the incisional approach. The lower part of the face below the upper ligaments cannot definitely be lifted with simple thread lifting or simple skin lifting procedure especially areas near chin and mouth
